Sons of Kemet - who were previously nominated for a Mercury Award with their 2018 album Your Queen Is A Reptile - have announced a new album. Black To The Future follows last year's We Are Sent Here By History. The new LP, out in May, will feature Kojey Radical, Lianna Le Havas and grime legend D Double E.

The new Shabaka Hutchings'+ project has been announced today with 'Hustle', a single embedded with La Havas' backing vocals and a verse from Kojey. It's a snaking track with an urgent, propulsive vocal turn.

Shabaka Hutchings said: "Black to the Future is a sonic poem for the invocation of power, remembrance and healing. It depicts a movement to redefine and reaffirm what it means to strive for black power.”
