Philadelphia rapper Tierra Whack is showing off her most colourful side in her new single ‘Link’. Partnering with Lego’s Rebuild The World campaign, Tierra Whack teamed up with schoolchildren to create the imaginative, endlessly playful music video. She looks like she’s be just as comfortable on an afterschool special as on the stage.

Lyrics like “use your imagination/ get your education/ build your foundation/ want a future make one” are sweet, without becoming sickly or patronising. Tierra Whack find balance with her charmingly child-like imagination without compromising on her sophisticated sound.

She talks about her experience of collaborating with children:

“I was so excited to work with kids because their energy is fun, exhilarating, never-ending, and full of surprises. I really trusted them, and I knew they were going to come up with something great.”

‘Link’ is gloriously original and shows her off to be a true creative in the world of hip hop and experimental rap.
