Slothrust have shared news of their fifth album Parallel Timeline. Due out in September, the forthcoming record is announced today with the atmospheric 'Strange Astrology'. 

The new single is a soft love song with the characteristic Slothrust charm thrown in: a healthy dose of astrological tenderness that doubles as a knowing nod to the strereotype that says the LGBTQ+ community place stoic faith in the zodiac.

“’Strange Astrology’ is one of the only proper love songs I have ever written. It’s an honest exploration of what it means to love someone who is intrinsically different than you."

"The music video for ‘Strange Astrology’ explores an idea I’ve always been fascinated by, which is: where do I end and you begin?" she added.
