A very exciting new exhibition is coming to London this summer: Pressing Matters will show a series of vinyl-inspired artworks which will be auctioned off in order to fund Music Support.
"A simple concept", the Pressing Matters ethos reads, "Ask musicians, labels and managers to donate vinyl...Then give them to contemporary artists to use as a blank canvas..."
Contributing artists include tatoo artist Grace Neutral intepreting Charli XCX, Cold War Steve taking on Sleaford Mods and David Shrigley working with Chic.
Other musicians getting the artist treatment include Sonic Youth, Slowthai, Kano, Skunk Anansie and Depeche Mode.
You can go and see the exhibition at 5 Carlos Place (home of MATCHESFASHION) from 4-28 May. Bid in the online auction 20 May-5 June here.
