Two of rock's most talented artists - Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten - have teamed up to release a beautiful new single titled 'Like I Used To'.

Country tones meet the big, sweeping cinema of Van Etten's indie compositions on the single, which looks to be a one-off, colossal event. 

Both musicians having worked with John Congleton (Van Etten on Remind Me Tomorrow and Olsen on All Mirrors), they decided to employ his services for this single too, and it pays off: the track thrums with the same kind of grandiosity apparent on their solo works.

Until now, Olsen and Van Etten have been long distance admirers. 

Sharon said of Angel: "Even though we weren’t super close, I always felt supported by Angel and considered her a peer in this weird world of touring. We highway high-fived many times along the way."

Angel said of Sharon: “I’ve met with Sharon here and there throughout the years and have always felt too shy to ask her what she’s been up to or working on."
