It’s a sonic summer sunset
Out of all the unlikely features we’ve had this year, the swans on Mumble Tide's newest track 'Breakfast' take the biscuit. Their scattered squawkings open up the tune, before it falls deep into a beautifully blissful haze.
Somewhere between dream pop and beach pop, Mumble Tide wash upon vast shores, sharing their peaceful melancholy with whichever lucky soul may stumble upon it. Drowsy guitars combine with diaphanous vocals to create a track wonderfully devoted to overcoming disharmony.
On the track the duo have said:
“We’ve experienced a lot of disharmony in the past few years and at times, I've been pretty upset by how people have treated each other. I don't deal well with conflict and this song is about accepting that you aren't always going to see eye to eye with people and that it's ok to be on different pages sometimes, like it doesn't make you a bad person.”
