Rap's punk icon Rico Nasty has gone pop today with her brand new single: the warm summer anthem 'Magic'. 

Moving away from the attitude of last year's album Nightmare Vacation, 'Magic' sounds like Rico catering to the charts. No doubt, this Latin-tinged, rolling bop could come eye to eye with the top ten but it doesn't detract from the soft addictiveness of the song itself.

With 'Magic', Rico hoped "to bring out another side of you and almost feel like you’re being taken over by Magic.” It acts as a bridge from last year's Nightmare Vacation and a forthcoming mixtape to be called Rx, "dropping this summer".
