More about:

Dublin’s very own rising star has today shared her new single ‘You’re Not Special, Babe’ after the recent announcement of her debut album Woman on the Internet.

‘You’re Not Special, Babe’ tells a narrative of Orla’s chaotic life in her 20s - the coming of age tune is a reminder to herself that everyone goes through rough patches in life and are able to come out the other end feeling happy and free. Her unfiltered honesty is a breath of fresh air as an accompanying video teases a fun side from the singer songwriter.

About the song’s video, she comments: “I directed the video for 'You're Not Special, Babe' with my best friend and creative director Greta Isaac. I love working on these visuals with Gret because she knows me and these songs so well. In the song I sing lyrics directed at myself but for this video we dreamed up a movement-based piece (choreographed by Elan Isaac) that personifies the voices of three clowns (played by incredible dancers Hannah Hornsby, Kyll Thomas-Cole and Anaïs Reymond).”
