PROJECTOR have shared another cut from their upcoming Zero EP, arriving 6 August on Roadkill Records. Still focussing on the darker sound that they explored on previous tracks, ‘Feels Like Something’ pushes the band into even more intense, anthemic territory.

Although it has a heart of pure post-punk, PROJECTOR have lifted elements from other genres like dance and EDM to amp it up even further, taking classic instruments and giving them a sharper edge. Lucy Sheehan explains the meaning behind the new single:

“Feels Like Something is about knowing you’ve got to choose between happiness and the things you’ve worked for your whole life. It’s about knowing you’re about to sacrifice a good life for singular moments of personal fulfilment that might never come, and asking what all that will be worth when you’re exhausted and still trying.

I guess it’s for every person who’s said goodbye to good things and carried on through all the shit after that one goal, even when there are no guarantees, just a feeling that you might be on to something.”
