Lorde has followed up 'Solar Power' with the second single from her hotly, hotly anticipated forthcoming album. 'Stoned at the Nail Salon' is a sizzling Lorde ballad-banger in the vein of Lana Del Rey.

Tonight, the star will feature on the show Late Night with Seth Meyers - she'll perform a song from Solar Power as well as taking part in an interview. 

After releasing the surprise single ‘Solar Power’, Lorde shared the details of her shimmering new record a month ago.

With the record releasing on August 20, Lorde has also announced a worldwide tour with 40+ dates, beginning in her home of New Zealand, before finishing in Germany. There’s even a few UK dates: she’s really spoiling us isn’t she?

Of the record itself, produced by both Lorde and Jack Antonoff, we’re yet to here a lot of details, but speaking briefly of the record Lorde has said:

“The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalizing the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors. In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learned to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through.”
