More about:

Madrid’s The Parrots have today released the music video for their most recent single, ‘Lo Dejaría Todos’. The song is taken from their upcoming second album, accurately entitled Dos, which arrives 29 October on Heavenly Recordings. The music video was directed by Martin Rietti and stars Spanish actress Macarena Garcia.

‘Lo Dejaría Todo’ is a fantastic earworm that won’t leave your brain for a long time after listening. Going above and beyond their usual sound, The Parrots employ saxophones and marimba to heighten the cinematic aspect of the song and its accompanying video. The band described their inspiration for the new single here:

“Lo Dejaría Todo is a song about longing, when all of a sudden you feel a part of you is missing and you would give anything to change things. But this life is based in choices so you have to learn and be aware that your past self isn’t the same person you are currently”.
