More about:

Jiminil, a brand new name out of Nottingham via Belfast, is sharing his second ever single today: the pastoral 'Family Tree'. It follows the artist's debut single 'Spider', which dropped in June and precedes a debut album coming later this year.

Ponderous and sinister, 'Family Tree' is a British/Irish folk song that invites the listener into a dark family dynamic—without giving too much away. It's a cauldron of Gothic undertones and thoughtful songwriting:

“It’s a modern gothic folk tale, the listener doesn’t know whether the narrator is the villain or the victim – the same goes for each character.  It’s up to the listener to decide who has hurt who, or worse?” Jiminil said.

Stay tuned for more from Jiminil.
