More about: Sam Fender
We draw closer to Sam Fender's second album today. With only one month to go until Seventeen Going Under drops, Sam has shared another cut in the form of 'Get You Down'.
He sounds frustrated on this cut, which howls with the pain of carrying self esteem issues and—by the sounds of it—a touch of body dysmorphia with you through life. Still, it manages to be an ecstatic cut complete with saxophone solo: this is Sam Fender, after all.

The cut follows the title track and the simmering 'Aye'.
“The whole record is about growing up and the self-esteem issues that you carry into your adult life, this song in particular is about how insecurity has affected my relationships. Definitely one of the more personal ones" Sam said.
A live version of a song called 'The Kitchen' appears as a B-side of sorts to 'Get You Down'.
