More about:

Australia's Body Type have gifted us with new music for the first time in three years! 'Sex & Rage' is the beginning of a new era for the garage rock band, who today announce their debut album Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing's Surprising.

The news keeps on coming: Body Type have also signed to Poison City Records, home of fellow Aussies Camp Cope. 'Sex & Rage' sees the group at once soft and stinging with a new bent for punk rock.

“'Sex & Rage' is a reflection on finding passion amidst feverish banality. When you are uninspired, when you feel sad that the general public would rather look at their phone screens than what's hanging on the walls of the Louvre; when lovers leave you just like they always do and everything feels like a cliché - remember the feelings that set you aflame, and the things that make those feelings happen. For me, it's Body Type and cryptic crosswords" vocalist Sophie McComish said.

Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing's Surprising arrives 20 May via Poison City Records.

Issue Four of the Gigwise Print magazine is on pre-order now! Order here.
