More about:

Time Bend and Break the Bower is the title of Sinead O'Brien's debut album, which was announced this morning. Coming in June on Chess Club Records, it gets a single in the form of 'Holy Country' today.

Sinead and her band (consisting of guitarist Julian Hanson and drummer Oscar Robertson) lay down the gauntlet on 'Holy Country', which is a cinematic, fuzzed-out rock'n'roll track replete with Sinead's vibrant poetics.

On the album as a whole, and its title, Sinead said: “The album title “Time Bend and Break The Bower”, from the song ‘Multitudes’, came into my head and made its demands...it looms like a moon over my activity watching, counting me down to zero."

You can see the album live in October and at several festivals over the summer.
