The Regrettes are back. Set for release on the 8 April, their third album Further Joy is coming, with the new track ‘That’s What Makes Me Love You’ out now to provide a teaser.

Described as a manual for living in these weird times, the L.A.-based band are coming out of an identity crisis and into their most vibrant era yet. After meeting in school and touring since their early teens, the band recently spent over a year apart as the pandemic shut their city down.

Reuniting for a joyful writing trip to Joshua Tree, the result is their poppiest release yet in spite of the subject matter.

Introducing the record, singer and songwriter Lydia Night said; “That phrase ‘further joy’ summarized what it meant to be on the hamster wheel of constantly chasing happiness, but in turn, that’s what makes you unhappy.” Creating a soundtrack for anyone that wants to break free and live in the moment, Further Joy is their dance the pain away manifesto.
