Since her last album, Angel Olsen has been through a lot. Dealing with grief, coming to grips with her sexuality and then with heartbreak - it’s apt that her latest announcement comes along with a note that it was made within a "whiplash". The result of a tumultuous time, Angel Olsen announces a new album - Big Time - coming 3 June.

Sharing the lead single, ‘All The Good Times’, the track sounds less like a credits roll but the turning point of a film, where the lead character decides to make it on her own and a montage shows her making it or whatever. Summed up in the stunning music video that visualises a feeling that's equal parts euphoric and heartbreaking, that sensation seems to summarise this new album.

Speaking of the events behind the album, Angel Olsen said simply; "Some experiences just make you feel as though you’re five years old, no matter how wise or adult you think you are". But off the back of that feeling, Big Time seems set to be her wisest album yet from what ‘All The Good Times’ delivers.
