More about:

Gigwise favourite Sarah Kinsley is back with one of her best singles to date, ‘Hills Of Fire’. Written and produced by the artist herself, it also features a visual collaboration with fellow Columbia student Lux.

Kinsley is unstoppable on ‘Hills Of Fire’, effortlessly mastering vocals from high to low and everything in between. As she sings “I can’t stay the king forever”, we see an artist propelled by the success of her first record, but who is ready to keep the momentum going to reach new heights. Kinsley described it quite beautifully here:

“Hills Of Fire captured the resurgence of that feeling, when the daunting tide of possibility feels so close to your fingertips and your eyes and nose that you can smell the salt of what could be and what might be, that anything and everything feels within reach. This track holds that pinnacle of light for me, it’s the reckoning of the un-conquering of space within my mind, the deciphering of what lays behind, the calling, the beckoning of the new. I can’t stay the king forever”.

‘Hills Of Fire’ is out now.

Issue Four of the Gigwise Print magazine is on pre-order now! Order here.
