Scarborough four-piece The Feens have dropped their latest single ‘All Worked Out’—the first track from the band’s upcoming EP, due this summer, it’s an anthemic slice of sun-friendly indie.

It comes after an electric year or two for the North Yorkshire band, who have supported the likes of Inhaler, The Lathums and The Clause and even indie icons James as part of a 8,000-capacity show in their hometown.

There’s another “dream” support slot set to come too, as The Feens will be supporting The Kooks at Bridlington Spa on 2 September. “I met Adam and Sam before starting the band back in 2016 we were attending The Last Shadow Puppets gig at Brid Spa,” explains joint-vocalist Freddie Schmuck, “I already knew Sam through friends and we'd discussed potentially starting a band.

“I suppose you could say that's where it all began, at Bridlington Spa, so it feels like this Kooks gig will be some mad full circle sort of feeling. We've all grown up with The Kooks' music, their first album is huge for us as a band in terms of inspiration and ambition. It's surreal, we're really looking forward to it, it’s a dream come true.”
