Indie-heads: assemble! There's a new band on the block and they're giving Editors energy. 'Understand', their debut single, is a fantastic first statement: it's an emotional, highly-wrought rock song with plenty of delicious vocals and cascading drums.

WESSON (named for their frontman Chris Wesson) are based in Milton Keynes and have already supported The Bluetones and Lucy Spraggan on tour. 

“The song expresses frustration over being around someone who leaves you feeling like you are beneath them, and you are holding them back. For them, it’s about achieving something tangible, whereas for me it’s about enjoying their company.”
