Indie band Spangled — a big This Feeling tip for the next few years — have dropped a new video for their single 'Good Life Better' and it's a stunning and tear-jerking tribute to frontman Ben Johnson's father, who passed away last year.

In the video for the measured and delicate new single, Spangled can be seen performing the song at Isle of Wight Festival last month. It marked a year on from his father John's death.

As the chorus refrain "you make my good life better" reaches its crescendo, the full poignancy and beauty of the song is felt. A real goosebump-inducing moment.

Speaking on the video, Spangled said: “The Isle of Wight will always have a special place in our hearts. What we lost there we can never get back, but the good memories are irreplaceable. This music video pays tribute to our biggest fan, our lamb chop king, our roadie, John Johnson."

"Everything we did at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival was for him. Our performance was for him, the music was for him, this video was for him, because John Johnson made our good lives better.”
