Genesis Owusus has released his first taste of new solo music in 2022 with 'GTFO' which is a mesmerising invocation of the words "get the fuck out". It's a unique reintoduction to Genesis, who wowed with his debut album Smiling With No Teeth last year.

We saw him at his first ever UK show last month. Of that experience we noted: "Owusu leads army chants, reads candid poetry and acknowledges the London crowd with the zeal and commanding presence of a pack leader, stirring the room with synchronised arm-waving, Freddy Mercury harking crowd singalongs, all while the Black Dogs replay loosely-synchronised dances and gyrations to the tune of Owusu’s smooth bars."
