BST is no stranger to boasting an eclectic mix of big names as their headliners. This past summer acts like The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Adele graced the stage. Next year, we have already had P!nk, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen announced and now joining that line up are K-pop sensations, BLACKPINK.

Every year BST are announcing big names to headline their festival making it one of the most anticipated events of the year for a range of different people. This year they have truly proven themselves as innovators as they announced today their next headliner would be BLACKPINK. The K-pop extraordinaries will make history with this performance, becoming the first K-pop group to headline a major UK festival.

Despite being the youngest headliner announced, BLACKPINK are certainly one of the most anticipated acts on the roster so far. Their upcoming shows in the O2 sold out almost immediately and it’s expected their day at BST will do the same. Their army of loyal fans the group have accumulated following 2 successful studio albums and 3 EPs will be flocking to Hyde Park next summer to enjoy one of the UK’s largest day festivals.

Every day comes with a full line-up of stellar supports attached as last year welcomed the likes of Pixies, Nile Rodgers and Sam Fender. No supports have been announced yet for the 2023 dates, so we will just have to wait and see who is going to be taking to the stage alongside BLACKPINK.

Presale for BST starts on 24th October with general sale beginning at 10am on 27th October.
