In case you were in any doubt that the indie revival is still coming hot and heavy, She’s In Parties have dropped ‘Cherish’ to make it crystal clear. With jangly guitars reminiscent of early Pale Waves and repetitive licks that take you back to 2013 - get your fishnets and your american apparel skirt, indie sleaze is here to stay.

As only their 4th track, the essex-based band are quickly becoming a hot name to know. In fact you’ve probably seen it on literally every city-based festival line up in the last year. Chosen as one of The Great Escape’s First Fifty for 2023, it seems set that their rise will continue as they deliver plain and simple indie banger after banger.

Packing ‘Cherish’ with euphoric harmonies, it’s Katie Dillon’s voice that makes it something really special as the classic combo between an angelic vocal and a strong guitar. Talking about the track, she said: “At the time ‘Cherish’ was written I was going through some weird times in my relationship, I was never good at communicating my feelings and so things would just build up. What I write in this song mainly suggests to myself, at the time, to cherish the love that we have for each other because ultimately there was too much love and memories and history there to just let it all go.”

‘Cherish’ is out now
