After gracing about a million and one 2023 ones to watch lists, Nell Mescal is bursting into the new year with a new track. And ‘Homesick’ feels like a true introduction to the singer, dealing with the distinctly irish feeling of leaving home, missing home and trying to find your footing elsewhere.

Singing about her experience of moving to london to pursue music full time, ‘Homesick’ is sure to be an anthem to the thousand if not millions of 20 something year olds around London trying to figure it out. With the lyrics “I’m a little bit homesick but I don't wanna go home yet cause I don't think that I'll come back” - a chorus of voices are sighing, “same”.

Freshly signed to LAB records, 2023 is set to be a big one for Nell as she dives into releasing ahead of a summer of shows.
