Is there anyone out there who hasn’t heard Running Up That Hill yet? Anybody? Anybody at all? Okay, well, get ready to hear it again, but not as you might imagine. Following her fourth studio album ‘BIG!’ Betty Who has decided to treat fans to a brand-new song, which is a reimagining of the Kate Bush classic.

The remix stays pretty true to the original in terms of structure. That banging chorus shines through, there is emotion in every lyric, and the build is good enough to fight off demons. Where it differs is Betty’s excellent and almost seamless implementation of her signature synth-pop. It makes the track less one to fight demons to and more one for the after party after you’ve fought said demons.

‘RUNNING UP THAT HILL’ comes out whilst Betty is in the middle of one of her biggest tours to date as she currently finds herself travelling around North America and Europe. This is a song that without a doubt will find its way onto the setlist. It remains a classic that everyone will be surprised and happy to hear, but Betty keeps enough of herself in there for those flocking to gigs.
