A beacon of light in a dreary winter

More about:

It’s February but there’s still ice on the roads. I’m reminded of my own breathing every time I exhale and see it in front of me. And no matter how many jackets I bung myself under the big smoke shiver still permeates. It seems like there is no hope. Like the weather will always be like this and I’ll never experience sun again. But then an email gets dropped in my inbox and in there, the beam of light that I was hoping for shines through.

What is a festival for if not for dancing? Why buy a ticket if you’re not going to buy a drink, soak up the sun and shuffle. Eden Festival seem to understand this as following the first announcement of their line up, there is no getting away from the fact that it is going to be a weekend of music that moves you and your feet.

Sister Sledge are headlining, disco royalty fronting bangers like ‘We Are Family’ ‘Lost in Music’ and ‘He’s The Greatest Dancer’. It’s the perfect music to backdrop good times and promises a ray of hope in this dismal winter. The idea of taking to Eden Festival and throwing shapes to such timeless classics really gets the heart racing.

Accompanying them is an eclectic but fun mix of music. Elvis and Nirvana mash up Elvana will be going, as will Henge and General Levy. This is clearly a festival that fronts good music but then doesn’t take itself too seriously either, allowing punters to unwind and enjoy themselves in the same way that all good festivals should.
