It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for… the thoroughly excellent Neils Children will be headlining the third annual Gigwise awards ceremony!
The Hertfordshire punk-psychedelic threesome will be topping the bill at the prestigious event held at Liverpool’s Masque Theatre on December 18th. As if things couldn’t get better, A Cult Called Karrianna and Thee Unstrung will also be taking to the stage.
Neils Children who released their acclaimed debut mini album ‘Change/Return/Success’ in September, meld a mouth-watering concoction of 70’s British punk, 60’s psychedelia and early Cure.
More material is expected in 2005 and may well be debuted at the awards.
Gigwise’s favourite poetic gobshite Glen Patterson will be hosting the bash again this year.
Don’t forget you can still pledge your votes for the 10 categories in the Gigwise awards through the website.
Winners of the best unsigned band will receive £500 worth of proud sponsors’ Carlsbro goodies of their choice.
Entrance to the awards is just £5 and is payable on the door so make sure you get there early! The entrance fee also guarantees you entry to the after party at the Barfly bar and is open till 3am.
