The Verve And Kings Of Leon To Headline Glastonbury
The Verve and Kings Of Leon are set to join Jay-Z as the headliners of this year’s Glastonbury festival.
Kings of Leon will close the first day of the festival on the Pyramid stage while Jay-Z will take the honour on the Saturday with the Verve closing the whole event on Sunday.
The news is sure to disappoint the hordes of Radiohead fans who were hoping they might be announced as a headline act this year.
Other bands already confirmed for Glastonbury this year are Neil Diamond, British Sea Power and Leonard Cohen.
Registration for tickets closes on March 15, with April 6 being the all important day to make your purchase.
- it was much better years ago tho. you can’t argue with that. it’s still fucking boss tho
- i wouldn’t have called kol headlining material, maybe one band before the end. i was hoping for one of the big names like radiohead, u2, coldplay and the like. never mind.
- What are the people who go to see Jay-Z going to do for the rest of the three days?
View 1 Reply- You wouldn’t call KOL headlining material (have you seen them live!) and you’d rather see Coldplay? A ”big name” means very little when it comes down to it.
- kings of leon r amazin
cnt fuckin wait
im sorry but your a hypocrite if you like radiohed n call kings of leon bland!
and i think stereophonics should hedline insted of the verve
