Glastonbury Ticket Registration To Reopen Today
The ticket registration process for this year’s Glastonbury Festival will reopen this afternoon after tickets failed to sell-out on Sunday.
Fans will have another chance to register from 4pm today, when they will be asked to submit their personal details and a passport-sized photo.
Successful applicants will then be sent a direct link to buy tickets for the event.
The Festival only managed to sell 100,000 out of a total 137,500 tickets when they went on sale on Sunday at 9am.
Organisers blamed recent bad weather for the slowdown in sales and not this year’s choice of headliners – The Verve, Jay-Z and Kings of Leon.
In a statement, the festival’s organiser Michael Eavis said registration was reopening after people emailed asking how they could still get tickets.
“This will give them the chance to see the best line-up of any festival this summer,” he added.
This year’s Glastonbury will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 27th-29th.
If you’ve registered you can go directly to purchase tickets here.
