Rob Da Bank, organisers of this weekend's Bestival festival, says the event is prepared for a possible no show from Amy Winehouse.
“If she can’t do the gig, rest assured I do have a very good back up plan...Have we ever let you down?" Da Bank wrote on the festival's website.
Concerns were raised about Winehouse, who is due to headline the event on Saturday, after she pulled out of a festival in Paris last Friday because of illness.
Organisers of Rock En Seine have since threatened legal action against the singer, who cancelled just hours before she was due to take to the stage.
Addressing the issue, Da Bank said: “Regarding Amy, simply, I do not have any more info as of today. I am in contact with her agent and manager and we’ll know what’s happening after the weekend.
Winehouse's last festival appearance came at the V Festival in August, where she was booed by sections of the crowd.
