Madonna fans have hit out after transport problems meant many were left stranded as they tried to leave her concert at London's Wembley Stadium last night (September 11th).

The concert, the second of only two UK dates on the singer's Sticky & Sweet world tour, was watched by 90,000 people, including a host of celebrities.

But Gigwise has been inundated by fans who endured problems leaving the concert – and were also left unhappy by the singer's set list.

A number have also complained about Madonna's late arrival on stage.

“My fifth Madonna show and a bit of a disappointment,” on Gigwise reader, Chris wrote.

“I think only those at the very front had the benefit of some atmosphere, the show just wasn't big enough for Wembley Stadium - perhaps the 02 would've been better for this one...”

Vicky, who said she “loved” the concert, voiced similar concerns about the size of the venue and said her night was “completely ruined” by transport trouble.

She wrote: “The night was completely ruined by the fact that she started half hour late and the train station shut early leaving HUNDREDS of people stranded in the middle of Wembley with no way to get home.”

Madonna's 27-date world tour supports her new album 'Hard Candy'. You can see highlights from last night's show below, or more extensive coverage here.
