Slipknot Unveil 2009 US Arena Tour Add to My Fav Bands List

Slipknot have announced their first headlining U.S. tour in support of their album ‘All Hope Is Gone’.

Kicking off the dates in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 23, the tour will hit 33 cities across the country including a date at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden.

The band is also celebrating 10 years since the release of their self-titled debut album, which quickly gained the band a massive following that has stuck with them ever since.

“2009 is the 10 year anniversary of the world’s first taste of this band.  To celebrate we are coming back out with a killer tour, a couple great bands and the same ferocity with which we attack life,” says singer Corey Taylor.

“We want all of our maggots to come and celebrate with us, because if it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t have been here for 10 years.  Get ready for chaos!”
