- More The Sex Pistols
Sex Pistols' bassist Glen Matlock has hinted that the band could record a new album.
Matlock told The Queitus that the group had “ideas” for a new record, which would be the follow-up to their 1977 debut 'Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols'.
But he denied recent media reports which claimed the group began working on new material during the summer.
"The Sex Pistols? We've done our bit this year…we'll meet again in the new year and see what we want to do," he said.
"We were not recording a new album - I think that journalists are making it up, but you can never say never.
"We all got ideas between us. It's a double-edged sword if you do it not good as the original, and if you don't do it people want to know why - but it's up to us. We are the masters of our own destiny."
The Sex Pistols returned to the road earlier this year for a series of shows, including a headlining performance at the Isle of Wight festival.
