Amy Winehouse helped rescue a tourist who was thrown from her sailing boat in the Caribbean by a large wave, it's been reported.
Thirty-nine year-old Louise Williams was able to make it to the water's edge after she landed on submerged rocks.
The tourist claims Winehouse rescued her from the shore line and helped her to a nearby shower.
“I was bowled over by her kindness. She went out of her way to help me,” Williams told The Sun newspaper.
“A six-foot wave caught the boat and I went flying and hit a rock. Amy was on the beach 20 metres away and she ran across immediately and said, ‘Let’s have a look at you.’
“She picked me up and took me across to the showers and was constantly asking, ‘Are you all right?’”
Williams added that Winehouse's heroics showed the singer had “another side to her”.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse has been on the Caribbean island of St Lucia since before Christmas.
