Michael Jackson Fans Queue For Final O2 Arena Tickets
Michael Jackson fans have begun queueing outside London's O2 Arena to buy tickets for the singer's comeback shows this summer.
The final tickets for Jackson's 45-date residency go on sale tomorrow morning (March 13th) at 7am.
Some of Jackson's most passionate fans have brought tents and sleeping bags as temperatures are expected to drop overnight.
As previously reported on Gigwise, promoters AEG have twice extended Jackson's O2 Arena run from the original ten nights.
After adding twenty extra gigs yesterday (March 11th), a further fifteen were added this morning. The pre-sale allocation for all the shows has now sold out.
Over a million people in 222 countries registered for the chance to see Jackson's “final curtain call” in London, which will begin on July 8th.
Tickets for the initial dates began appearing on eBay yesterday morning for as much as £10,000 a pair.
Jackson, now 50, has not performed a full concert since he was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005. His last full tour, entitled HIStory, took place in 1996 and '97.
In total, the singer is expected to earn upwards of $400m for his comeback, which also includes a 3D film deal.
