- More Glastonbury Festival
Glastonbury organisers have admitted they are watching the Swine flu outbreak carefully as they prepare for this summer's biggest festival.
Although the outbreak is yet to be confirmed as a level 6 pandemic by the World Health Orgnaisation, it has already been confirmed to be moving from human to human in the UK.
Speaking to XFM the Glastonbury press office said they were monitoring the possible outbreak but as yet had no plans to cancel or scale back the festival if it became a pandemic.
Gigs in Mexico, where the swine flu outbreak first begun, have already been cancelled and the country is undergoing a virtual shut down for the next five days.
Michaal Jackson has also cancelled a visit to the UK because of the outbreak.
