Gigwise is proud to announce that we've teamed up with international anti-poverty charity ActionAid to bring you the ultimate music-loving, CV-boosting competition: Bollocks to Poverty: Work it!
ActionAid are on the hunt for a Bollocks to Poverty Tour Ambassador to come backstage at some of this summer's hottest festivals, chat to some bands, write some blogs about it and then organise the mother of all Christmas parties.
If you are passionate about music, events, fighting poverty or all three, this once in a lifetime opportunity could be yours - but you’ll have to put on your own Bollocks to Poverty event to prove it!
To be in with a chance of winning, you need to organise a great event in your area and shout about it on our website. It can be anything, from a club night to a house party, a fashion show or a gig full of unsigned local talent - it just needs to happen before August 10th to be in the running.
Laurent Barnard from Gallows, along with the Gigwise and Bollocks to Poverty teams will be on hand to pick the best (not necessarily biggest) event.
We’ll need you to blog all about your event- the good bits and the bad- and include loads of pictures to make us feel as though we were there. We’ll also be judging it on the votes and comments you get from your friends and the Gigwise community.
