Michael Jackson's father, Joseph, has once again claimed “foul play” was involved in his son's death.
Joe reaffirmed his assertion in an interview on CNN's Larry King Live on Monday.
"The doctor gave him something to make him rest, and then he don't wake up no more,” he said.
“Something is wrong there. To me that is foul play."
Jackson's dad, who endured a tumultuous relationship with his son, has raised the allegation of foul play repeatedly since the star's death on June 25.
But a lawyer for Jackson's lawyer, Dr Conrad Murray, has denied that his client administered a powerful sedative to the singer on the day he died.
Edward Chernoff told the Los Angeles Times the claims were “absolutely false” and that Dr Murray had attempted to revive Jackson with CPR.
Los Angeles police discovered prescription drugs during a search of Jackson's rented home in Holmby Hills shortly after his death.
The Los Angeles Coroner's Office has deferred cause of death pending toxicology tests, which are expected next week.
