Michael Jackson's children prayed as the singer's doctor administered CPR on their father, it's been claimed.
Jackson's chef, Kai Chase, said he was preparing lunch for the singer's children when Jackson's doctor raised the alarm shortly after midday on June 25.
Chase, 37, told the New York Post that Dr Conrad Murray came running down the staircase and called for the singer's eldest child, Prince Michael, 12.
Prince is reported to have watched as Dr Murray attempted to revive Jackson at his Los Angeles home.
"I walked into the hall and I saw the children there. The daughter was crying. I saw paramedics running up the stairs," Chase said.
“We were all praying, 'Help Mr. Jackson be OK'. Then everyone was quiet."
Chase said she first felt something was wrong earlier in the morning when the singer failed to come down for breakfast.
Dr Murray would also normally appear at the same time carrying oxygen tanks, the chef claimed.
Chase had reportedly been hired to cook for the star during his comeback shows in London.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Dr Murray is now the focus of a manslaughter investigation into Jackson's death.
Earlier this week, police launched a second wave of raids on the home and office of Jackson's personal physician.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Coroner's office has delayed publishing Michael Jackson's autopsy results until next week.
