Comedian Russell Brand will feature on a re-make of the England football anthem 'Three Lions', it's been reported.
Brand is understood to have been invited to take part in the project by the song's creator, Ian Broudie.
Broudie, who recorded the original song with comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner in 1996, is due to release the updated version in time for this summer's football World Cup.
"Russell is a massive football fan and has always liked the track so he thought, 'Why not?',” a source told The Sun.
Last month, it was reported that Robbie Williams had also recorded vocals for the new version.
'Three Lions' topped the UK charts when it was released as the official anthem for England's participation in Euro 96.
It has since been re-released three times as the country's unofficial song at major football tournaments.
