Poison frontman Bret Michaels has been taken to hospital after suffering a “warning stroke”.
Michaels, who is recovering from a brain haemorrhage, has been diagnosed with a hole in the heart.
The condition is treatalble with an operation, but Michaels is receiving blood thinners, according to a message on his website.
Michaels’ stroke is not thought to be related to the brain haemorrhage he suffered last month.
His manager, Janna Elias, told the Associated Press Michaels was "walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive”.
