Rage Against The Machine Fans Praise 'Awesome' Rage Factor Gig

Rage Against The Machine fans have praised the band following their one-off gig at London’s Finsbury Park on Sunday (June 6).

The US group staged the huge outdoor gig - dubbed Rage Factor - to mark their successful Christmas number one bid last December.

Gigwise Twitter follower @chloegynne said the gig was “awesome”, adding: “Lots of proper fans/music fans made for a great atmosphere & Rage were epic.”

@Nick_Southall said: “It was a great show and great atmosphere and really drove home the gravitas of what happened at Christmas.”

Follower @lunarsuburbia was also impressed by the performance, and said the event eclipsed the band’s performance at the Reading Festival two years ago.

@solamore said: “Totally awesome! The best free gig I've ever been to. Whole day of amazing live music.”

The gig attracted to 40,000 fans and came just six months after Rage beat X Factor winner Joe McElderry to the Christmas number one spot.

The US band have vowed to return to the UK following the one-off show.

  • Lets not forget all the fans who tore down the fences and gates to get in. The fans outside really reflected what rage stood for forcing them selves in past security as one large party.

  • Yes lets not forget those people who stormed in, scared a lot of people, pushed people around and some drunk ones who started picking fights. Free concert it was but this is how trouble starts. Was an amazing gig and defo up there with the best I have seen
