Amy Winehouse, X Factor's Katie Waissel 'Go Drinking Together'

Amy Winehouse took X Factor contestant Katie Waissel out to the pub, it’s been reported.

The pair were apparently spotted together at the Hawley Arms London, which is one of Winehouse’s favourite drinking spots.

According to The Sun, Waissel asked Winehouse for advice on how she could make it in the music world.

"Katie idolises Amy and would love to follow in her footsteps,” a source said. “Amy was wishing her well and telling her not to listen to all the haters."

Waissel has developed a reputation for doing things her own way on the reality show.

Meanwhile, Winehouse is currently recording her as-yet-untitled new album, which is due to be released in the new year. She has also recorded a track for a new Quincy Jones album.
