Gigwise’s quest for a band to play this year’s Volvo Snowbombing festival in Austria is drawing to a conclusion.

The festival takes place in Mayrhofen from April 4-9, and is set to feature performances from The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and Pendulum.

And for the third year running, Gigwise has teamed up with Volvo Snowbombing to find an unsigned act to join them on the bill.

Bands are able to submit an MP3 demo to Gigwise’s special King Of The Mountain competition page – the competition closes on Monday (January 31).

In February, the public will get the chance to vote on the top twenty bands, before the most popular four are given the chance to do battle in Austria.

One band will then be selected from our four finalists to go on and support one of the major acts during the event. They'll also win 2000 euros.
