Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at a gay bar on Saturday (March 12) to perform alongside a tribute act inspired by her.

The singer took to stage at 1.15am at Connections in Louisville to sing her new single 'Born This Way'.

Appearing alongside a 6ft tall man dressed as herself, Lady Gaga's appearance triggered a huge cheer from the crowd - and you can watch it below now.

The singer had earlier performed at the KFC Yum! Center as part of her Monster Ball tour.

'Born This Way' is the first single to be taken from Lady Gaga's album of the same name, due to be released in May.
