Reading And Leeds Festival 2011 Line-Up Sparks Mixed Reaction From Fans

The line-up for this year's Reading and Leeds festival has sparked a mixed reaction from fans.

My Chemical Romance, The Strokes, Muse and Pulp were announced as headline acts for this year's festival when tickets went on sale last night (March 21).

But fans have been left divided on Twitter, where the line-up has now been posted.

One festival goer said: ''The Reading and Leeds Festival line up is pretty much the same as it was six or seven years ago.'''

While another Gigwise follower Tweeted: ''AHHHHH SOO F*CKING SIKED!! :D''

My Chemical Romance will headline Reading on the Friday (August 26) and Leeds on Saturday (August 27) with support from 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, Deftones, Rise Against and Bring Me The Horizon.

The Strokes will co-headline the main stage with Pulp on the Saturday night at Reading and Sunday at Leeds. The National, Jimmy Eat World, Madness, Two Door Cinema Club and Seasick Steve will also appear.

Muse will take to the main stage on the Sunday at Reading, and Friday in Leeds, with Elbow, Interpol, Friendly Fires, Enter Shikari, The View and Frank Turner.

  • A very poor line-up, but alas I will still be there for the ones I like and the campsite fun. They could always pull a big surprise nearer the time; I do live in hope 'a very little hope' for Linkin Park, or closer to home, some Feeder.
