Lady Gaga Is Elton John's Son's Godmother, Singer Confirms

Sir Elton John has confirmed that Lady Gaga is Godmother to his son, Zachary.

John and partner David Furnish spoke about the singer during an upcoming interview with Barbara Walters.

The veteran singer confirmed long-time rumours that Lady Gaga was godmother to his son, who was born in December.

"Yes, yes she is," he said. "When you get to the real person under there, there's a real simple person under there who loves her parents."

Furnish added that the singer would help guide Zachary through the music business should he choose a career in the industry.

"Zachary's going to inherit an incredible musical legacy from his father one day, and she will be a good person to guide him through the ins and outs of the music business, 'cause she sure knows everything about the business now,” he said.

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Christmas Day via a surrogate mother in California.
