Liam Gallagher Targets Noel As Beady Eye Play London Gig

Liam Gallagher appeared to take a dig at his brother Noel as Beady Eye performed in London last night (July 12).

The band, which Liam formed following the demise of Oasis in 2009, were performing at Somerset House as part of the Summer Series.

He poked fun at his brother's recent claims about why the band split when introducing the song 'Man Of Misery'.

Last week, Noel said Oasis began to have problems when he denied Liam the opportunity to advertise his clothing label Pretty Green in their tour magazine.

Last night he made reference to the comment, asking the crowd if anyone owned a piece of Pretty Green clothing, and then adding: “Or are we not allowed to speak about Pretty Green?”

It was only time during the band's 16-song set that Liam made reference to Noel's recent comments.

Elsewhere, he only spoke to the crowd to introduce songs, which included previous singles 'The Roller' and 'Bring The Light' from their debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding'.

“This is our new single if any of you are old enough to remember them,” Gallagher joked when introducing 'The Beat Goes On'.

Beady Eye concluded their performance with a cover of World of Twist's 'Sons of the Stage'.

Beady Eye's set list was:

'Four Letter Word'
'Beatles And Stones'
'Millionaire'
'Two Of A Kind'
'For Anyone'
'The Roller'
'Wind Up Dream'
'Bring The Light'
Standing On The Edge Of The Noise'
'Kill For A Dream'
'Three Ring Circus'
'The Beat Goes On'
'Man Of Misery'
'The Morning Son'
'Wigwam'
'Sons Of The Stage'
