Adele, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne To Perform At MTV VMAs 2011

Adele, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne have been confirmed to perform at this year's MTV VMAs, set to take place next month.

The awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on August 28, will see Adele perform for the first time at the ceremony.

The London singer is nominated for a total of seven awards for video 'Rolling In The Deep'; including Best Female Artist, Best Pop Video, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Editing and Video of the Year.

Speaking about his forthcoming performance, Chris Brown told MTV: "I am excited about my nominations and to be back on the VMA stage," Brown said in a statement. "I have a special performance planned for my wonderful fans."

Katy Perry is also nominated for all the major awards, including Video Of The Year' for 'Firework', Best Female Video and Best Pop Video.
